What We Do

Complete MSME Financial Services
Under One Roof

Most MSMEs don't fail to get credit because their business is weak. They fail because their documents don't speak the language credit committees actually approve. Every service below fixes exactly that.

From the first credit consultation to post-sanction compliance, MSME Central covers every institutional touchpoint that Karnataka's growing businesses encounter — banks, government schemes, registrations, and dispute resolution.

01 Document Preparation

DPR & CMA Preparation

A bank-grade Detailed Project Report and CMA Data statement are not documents you submit once and forget. They are the primary lens through which a bank's credit committee evaluates your business, your character, and your repayment capacity. Most rejections trace back to documents — not the business itself.

What MSME Central Prepares

  • Detailed Project Report (DPR) — Full 15–20 section report covering project background, promoter profile, technical feasibility, market analysis, financial projections (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow for 5–7 years), DSCR workings, SWOT, risk mitigation, and means of finance.
  • CMA Data — 6-year CMA statements (3 audited actuals + 3 projections) in the exact format PSU banks require: Fund Flow, Working Capital Assessment, MPBF calculation, TOL/TNW and other key ratios clearly presented.
  • Techno-Economic Viability (TEV) Reports — For term loans above ₹2 Crore where banks require independent technical assessment.
  • Working Capital Proposals — CC limit proposals with MPBF calculations, stock/debtor statements, and bank-specific formats (SBI, Canara, Union etc.).
  • Supplementary Annexures — Promoter bio-data, machinery quotations, land/building valuations, market tie-up letters, and all supporting documents the bank's checklist requires.

Our Standard

Every DPR we prepare is structured the way a bank's credit officer reads it — starting from the executive summary, confirming DSCR viability, checking means of finance, and verifying margin requirements. We know what triggers queries and pre-empt them in the document itself. Our DPRs do not go back and forth with the bank three times for basic clarifications.

Who This Is For

  • New manufacturing units seeking term loans
  • Existing businesses applying for expansion finance
  • Service sector MSMEs — IT, healthcare, logistics
  • Businesses with prior rejection seeking re-submission
  • Greenfield projects needing CGTMSE or SIDBI finance
02 Collateral-Free Credit

CGTMSE Loan Facilitation

The Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE) is one of the most powerful credit tools available to Indian MSMEs — and one of the most underutilised, because few businesses understand how to structure a proposal that the bank will actually forward to the Trust. MSME Central has a 94% sanction rate on CGTMSE proposals we submit.

What CGTMSE Means for Your Business

Under CGTMSE, eligible MSMEs can access collateral-free credit up to ₹5 Crore (revised FY 2025–26) with the Trust covering 75–85% of the sanctioned amount in case of default. The bank bears less risk — which means it can lend to businesses that lack immovable property to pledge as collateral. For first-generation entrepreneurs and service-sector MSMEs with no land or building to offer, this is often the only viable credit route.

What We Do End-to-End

  • Eligibility Assessment — Confirm scheme applicability, loan quantum, and likely coverage percentage before any bank approach.
  • Bank Selection — Not every PSU bank branch actively forwards CGTMSE proposals. We approach branches and officers with an established track record of processing and approving these cases.
  • Proposal Structuring — DPR prepared specifically with CGTMSE norms in mind — DSCR benchmarks, credit risk category, NPA history, and promoter contribution clearly documented.
  • CGTMSE Portal Coordination — We coordinate the bank's submission to the CGTMSE portal and track guarantee approval.
  • Post-Sanction Compliance — Annual Service Charges (ASC) calendar, guarantee renewal timelines, and compliance requirements explained and tracked.

03 Institutional Credit

PSU Bank Credit Facilitation

PSU bank credit is the most cost-effective institutional financing available to Indian MSMEs — interest rates typically 2–4% below NBFC and private bank alternatives. But navigating PSU bank processes requires preparation, patience, and relationships that most businesses do not have. MSME Central provides all three.

Credit Products We Facilitate

  • Term Loans — For capital expenditure: plant & machinery, building construction, equipment upgrades. Repayment structured over 5–10 years with moratorium.
  • Working Capital — Cash Credit (CC) Limits — Revolving credit against stock and debtors, sanctioned annually. MPBF-based calculation done by us.
  • Composite Loans — Combined term loan + working capital for new projects where both are needed simultaneously.
  • ECLGS & Emergency Credit Lines — Government-backed emergency and top-up credit facilities for existing borrowers.
  • Bank Guarantee & LC Facilities — For businesses supplying to government or export markets.
  • Mudra Loans (Shishu / Kishore / Tarun) — For early-stage and micro businesses under ₹10 Lakh.

Banks We Work With in Karnataka

We have active working relationships with credit officers and branch managers across:

State Bank of IndiaCanara Bank Union Bank of IndiaPunjab National Bank Bank of BarodaIndian Bank Bank of IndiaCentral Bank of India Karnataka BankKSFC SIDBIVijaya Bank (BoB)

What Sets Our Facilitation Apart

We do not send files by post and wait. We identify the right branch (not every branch has the same appetite for MSME credit), prepare the complete file, submit in person, attend pre-sanction meetings where required, respond to credit officer queries within 24 hours, and follow the file through the sanctioning authority's desk. Our banker relationships mean files are not left in queues.

04 Government Schemes

Subsidy & Incentive Mapping

Karnataka and the Government of India together offer dozens of capital subsidies, interest subventions, infrastructure incentives, and tax concessions to MSMEs — most of which go unclaimed because businesses do not know they exist, or do not know how to apply. MSME Central maps every scheme that applies to your specific business profile and manages the application process.

Karnataka State Schemes

  • Karnataka MSME Policy 2020–25 — Capital subsidy up to 30% for new manufacturing units in B & C category districts. Electricity tariff concessions, stamp duty exemptions, and registration fee waivers.
  • KIADB Industrial Plot Allotment — Application, documentation, and follow-up for plots in Karnataka industrial areas including Peenya, Bommasandra, Jigani, and KIADB estates across the state.
  • KSFC Schemes — Karnataka State Financial Corporation term loans and equipment finance at concessional rates for eligible MSMEs.
  • DIC (District Industries Centre) Incentives — State subsidy certifications, Annexure filings, and local body NOCs managed through the relevant DIC office.
  • SC/ST and Women Entrepreneur Schemes — Specific credit and subsidy schemes with enhanced benefits for eligible promoters.

Central Government Schemes

  • PMEGP (Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme) — 15–35% capital subsidy for new enterprises routed through DIC offices in Karnataka.
  • CLCSS (Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme) — 15% upfront capital subsidy on institutional credit for technology upgradation in specified sectors.
  • RoDTEP & MEIS — Export-oriented MSMEs — duty remission and incentive scheme claims.
  • Interest Subvention Schemes — RBI and SIDBI-routed interest relief for Udyam-registered MSMEs on working capital.
  • KVIC and Khadi Board Subsidies — For rural manufacturing, food processing, and artisan clusters.

Our Process

We conduct a structured incentive audit of your business — sector, location, investment level, promoter category, existing registrations — and produce a written scheme eligibility map with application timelines. We then manage all filings, follow-ups, and inspection coordination on your behalf.

05 Statutory & Commercial Registrations

Udyam, GeM & NSIC Registrations

Three registrations that unlock disproportionate value for Karnataka MSMEs — and yet most businesses either delay them, do them incorrectly, or fail to leverage the benefits post-registration. MSME Central handles all three with accuracy and follows up to ensure you actually use what you register for.

🏛️ Udyam Registration

The foundational MSME registration under the MSME Development Act. Required for access to priority sector lending, CGTMSE, interest subvention, MSME Samadhaan, and all government scheme benefits. Issued by MoMSME based on Aadhaar and GST linkage.

What we do: Document preparation, portal filing, classification verification (Micro / Small / Medium), post-registration linkage with bank accounts and government portals, and correction of incorrectly issued certificates.

🛒 GeM (Government e-Marketplace) Onboarding

GeM is India's government procurement portal — ₹4 Lakh Crore+ in annual transactions. Karnataka MSMEs in manufacturing, IT, and services are significantly under-represented as sellers. GeM-registered MSMEs with Udyam certificates get purchase preference and price preference in government tenders.

What we do: Seller profile creation, product/service catalogue listing, OEM certification coordination, bid participation guidance, and linkage with Peenya/Bommasandra manufacturer clusters for common category listings.

🏅 NSIC Registration & Empanelment

National Small Industries Corporation registration enables MSMEs to participate in government tenders without Earnest Money Deposit (EMD), access raw material assistance, and get single point registration for PSU procurement. Critical for Karnataka manufacturers supplying to defence, railways, and central PSUs.

What we do: NSIC SPRS application, performance & credit rating coordination, annual renewal, and scheme-specific registrations (Marketing Assistance, Raw Material Assistance, etc.).

06 Dispute Resolution

Delayed Payment Recovery — MSME Samadhaan

The MSME Development Act mandates that buyers must pay MSMEs within 45 days of delivery. Violations attract compound interest at three times the RBI bank rate. Yet most Karnataka MSMEs — particularly those supplying to large corporates, PSUs, and government departments — are owed crores in delayed payments they do not know how to recover. MSME Samadhaan is the statutory mechanism. We manage the entire process.

What the Law Says

Under Section 16 of the MSMED Act 2006, buyers who delay payment beyond the agreed credit period (maximum 45 days) are liable to pay compound interest monthly at three times the RBI bank rate. The MSME Samadhaan portal, under MoMSME, allows MSMEs to file applications directly with the MSEFC (Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council) of their respective state. Karnataka's MSEFC operates under the Karnataka Department of Industries and Commerce.

Our Samadhaan Services

  • Dues Assessment — We calculate the exact outstanding principal and compound interest accrued, with a date-wise working that stands up in MSEFC proceedings.
  • Application Filing — Complete MSME Samadhaan portal filing with supporting invoice documentation, delivery proofs, and agreement/PO evidence.
  • MSEFC Representation — Appearance before Karnataka's Facilitation Council, response to buyer counter-submissions, and conciliation proceeding support.
  • ODR Portal Proceedings — For cases referred to arbitration under the Online Dispute Resolution framework, we prepare and file the MSME's arbitration statement.
  • Decree Execution Support — Where MSEFC awards a recovery order, we guide the MSME on execution proceedings against the buyer's assets.

Who Needs This

  • Manufacturers supplying to large corporates or PSUs
  • IT & software firms with government project receivables
  • Contractors with government department dues
  • Exporters with domestic buyer outstanding
  • Any Udyam-registered MSME owed money beyond 45 days
