CGTMSE
CGTMSECredit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises. A joint initiative of the Ministry of MSME and SIDBI that provides credit guarantee cover to banks lending collateral-free to Udyam-registered MSMEs. Coverage is up to ₹5 Crore (FY 2025–26), with the Trust covering 75–85% of the outstanding loan in case of default. The bank pays an Annual Guarantee Fee (AGF) to the Trust in exchange for this cover.
